The futuristic 15,000 m² trussed-frame roof of the dvg building in Hanover must be capable of movement in order to withstand wind, ice and snow, as well as seasonal temperature changes.

Around 1,600 INA radial spherical plain bearings in the connection and pivot points of the 15,000 m² roof provide this controlled movement and the necessary length compensation. The bearings are characterized by a very high load carrying capacity and low friction values.

They are maintenance-free thanks to the ELGOGLIDE® sliding layer.
