Dental handpieces

Cost factor of ball bearings: Handpieces achieve their maximum operating life with Barden miniature bearings
Barden quality: Assembly of precision rolling bearings under stringent clean room conditions

High speed in dentistry

Among rolling bearing applications, dental handpieces (often also referred to as dental drills) represent one of the greatest challenges. The small ball bearings rotate at speeds of up to 500,000 rpm, often under difficult conditions (consider the debris generated during dental treatments or sterilization in autoclaves).

This frequently leads to premature bearing failure. Barden miniature ball bearings can extend the operating life of handpieces, thereby lowering overall costs. In addition, vibrations are reduced – giving the dentist more control.
